GFE = Google Front End
- Software-defined, distributed systems that sit in Google's «pop»s and are distributed globally.
- Used by GCP services, not by customer VMs: Customer VMs use Cloud Front End, a similar product using the GCE networking stack.

GUA = Globally Unique Address.

gVNIC = Google Virtual NIC
